PME-INTER NOTAIRES

Following the purchase of a building that needed to be renovated to house the offices of PME-Inter Notaires Montréal, the client called on the expertise of Cléo Katcho’s team. The goal was to design the workspaces and client meeting areas, located on the ground floor and first floor of the building, in a very classic style while incorporating as many existing design elements as possible. In addition, the short timeframe in which the project had to be completed presented an additional challenge.

Significant confidentiality and transparency requirements dictated the approach taken by the design team. The use of special film on the windows of the ground floor offices overlooking the street and numerous acoustic interventions met the required discretion criteria. The use of glass as walls for closed offices maximized the natural light in the PME-Inter Notaires Montréal spaces and gave the premises a feeling of openness and integrity.

The addition of noble materials such as wood and plants has given the spaces a sense of presence and lightness, while retaining several existing elements, such as the carpet and solid wood doors. In order to facilitate customer access to the conference room located on the first floor, which has been juxtaposed with a multifunctional coffee corner, the latter has been located close to the stairs.
