For nearly 100 years, Magnus Poirier has been offering a full range of funeral products and services to a multi-ethnic clientele in Montreal and on the North Shore. The company stands out for its constant adaptation to ever-changing needs and its deep-rooted values of listening, respect, and warmth.
With several funeral homes already under his belt, Magnus Poirier wanted to offer his growing clientele a new, cutting-edge complex where the lives of the deceased could be celebrated. Since the new building is located along the highway, the focus was on creating a funeral complex where the luxurious interior would be the focal point, minimizing the outside environment and associated noise.
Magnus Poirier’s team wanted to create a space with good acoustics so that the privacy of each funeral service could be preserved. The need for storage space was also an important consideration in the design. The layout of the spaces and the integration of storage areas by Cléo Katcho’s team made it possible to meet these needs.
Magnus Poirier’s project on Highway 440, despite all the obstacles that have slowed its progress, such as COVID-19, is the realization of a project that was conceived several years ago. The luxurious decor is characterized by finishing and lighting choices that enhance the visual richness of the space. The large-scale complex, which is expected to be completed in 2021, will be an inviting place to celebrate a loved one. It is a great pleasure to once again be working closely with the Magnus Poirier team.
We are proud that this project was featured in this article in Laval Families.
